1. When was the last time you felt a sense that there might be more for you than what you’re currently experiencing? What stirred that feeling —or what tends to quiet it?
2. As you read Genesis 1–14 this week, what stood out to you about how the world can be both clearly good and deeply broken at the same time? Where do you see that tension in everyday life?
3. Genesis 2:10 describes a river flowing out of Eden to bring life everywhere . What does that image suggest about humanity’s original connection with God? What helps connection flowing freely in your life? What makes that connection feel blocked?
4. The fall in Genesis 3 is described as a relational breakdown —with God, yourself, others, and creation. Which of those fractures do you most recognize in your own experience, and why do you think that one hits closest to home?
5. God tells Abraham (Genesis 12:1–3) that blessing is meant to flow through him to others. Pastor Justin described five opportunities where blessing can flow through us to others. In which area might this look like practically for you this week ?
Through community, when we refuse isolation and choose shared life.
Through hospitality, when we loosen our grip on what we call ‘mine.’
Through justice, when God’s heart for the overlooked moves us to act.
Through generosity, when we believe our money is a river, not a reservoir
Through faithfulness, when we keep choosing alignment in unseen places.
Prayer
God, remind us that we were created for more —not striving or proving, but life with You. Draw us back to You, our Source, and let the greatness You placed within us be marked by humility, courage, and trust. May Your blessing flow through us into every part of our lives, so we live connected, dream with You, and become a blessing to the world. Amen
