At Central, we know how challenging parenting with intention can be. That’s why we are dedicated to helping you reclaim your home as the spiritual centre for your family. Do you find yourself with questions no matter what stage of parenting you’re in? We have groups at Central that are designed to help you connect with God and with other families that are facing the same struggles and triumphs. Join us at one of our many groups created to help you grow in your own faith journey while also leading your child(ren) to a personal relationship with Jesus.

FAMILY GROUP NIGHT | WEDNESDAYS | OCTOBER 1 - NOVEMBER 19

At Central, we believe that your home is the heart of your family’s spiritual life. That’s why we’ve created Family Group Night—a midweek evening designed to help families connect with God and each other in a relaxed and meaningful way.

Dinner & Connection | 5:30–6:30pm 
Start your evening with a delicious dinner in our café—no cooking, no dishes! Our friendly café team will have a hot meal ready for you, with kid-friendly options available every week. Cost: $10/adult | $5/child

Groups & Programs | 6:00–7:15pm 
After dinner, join one of our encouraging parent groups tailored to meet you where you’re at:
* Young Families Community Group
* Single Parents + Single Fathers Group
* Adoptive + Foster Parents Group
* Parents of Teens Group

Each group is led by caring, trained volunteers who are also navigating family life just like you. These groups run in 8-week sessions during fall and winter, and a shorter 4-week session in spring.

Programs for Kids & Youth:
* Ages birth–Grade 5 | 6:00-7:15pm
* Jr. Youth | 6:30-8:00pm
* Sr. Youth | 7:00-9:00pm

Whether you’re new to Central or have been part of our community for a while, Family Group Night is a great way to grow together and build lasting connections.

YOUNG FAMILIES

PARENTS OF JR/SR YOUTH

Raising teenagers in today’s world is both challenging and rewarding, as they navigate the tension between their need for independence and family support. Come connect with other parents of youth for a personalized discussion in the Young Families Community Group.

SINGLE PARENT COMMUNITY

As a single parent, you face unique challenges and we want you to feel understood, supported and not alone. You are absolutely welcome at our Young Families Community Group, where you can join us at any table, including our table of single parents.

SINGLE FATHERS CONNECTION

From kids to stress to struggles with faith, adjusting to life as a single dad is a challenge not everyone understands. Whether you have full, part-time or joint custody, we invite you to navigate this new normal with a God-first approach, friendship and support. Connect with other single fathers for a personalized discussion in the Young Families Community Group.

ADOPTIVE + FOSTER FAMILIES

Are you adoptive or foster parents? Do you need connection with other adoptive and foster families who understand your journey and the inherent joys and challenges of parenthood? Join us to share fellowship, conversation and support as you navigate life as a family.

MOMS + KIDS GROUPS

We also offer year round Moms + Kids Meet-ups. In the Spring and Fall these take place in our group leader’s backyard, and during the colder months at Central in Auditorium B on Wednesday mornings. These groups are casual, friendly spaces where moms and kids can do life together and support each other in the challenges of motherhood. Kids have space to run and play while moms can chat and encourage one another.

MOMS + KIDS SUMMER MEET UPS | JULY & AUGUST

Beach days: meet us in the middle of Port Dalhousie Beach (Lakeside) under the trees. We set up blankets, bring beach toys/snacks and splash in the water. Fee for parking in the main lot (free parking in the subdivision or at Jaycee Gardens with a walk over the bridge).

Beach Dates: July 2, 16, 30, Aug 13
Time: 9:30am – 11:30am

Park days: Meet us at one of the many parks in Niagara! We set up blankets, bring snacks and hunt for pinecones. Swing set, jungle gym and slides (and some weeks a splash pad) available for all ages. Free parking. Check weekly email for location.

GATHER MOMS | NO KIDS

Join us as we gather together as Moms of faith. Each month we will meet for an evening of social time and food. As busy Moms it’s hard for us to connect with other women of faith who understand what we are facing in motherhood. Together we will support, encourage and grow together as mothers while we learn to intentionally parent our children.

PARENT CUE [APP]

One of our goals here at Central Kids is to partner with families and help you as you lead your child in the ways of God. We understand how much your children mean to you, and we want to be a part of your child’s growth in their faith. One of the ways we can do this is through the PARENT CUE APP. Each Sunday in our Kids’ Experience, your child will learn a new Bible story. With the Parent Cue App, you can connect with your kids about what they learned on Sunday throughout the week. Not only that but there are four devotionals each week and a monthly memory verse that you can do with your children all found on the app.
