You've spent the summer watching your country play football on TV (because, as we all learned, in-person tickets cost approximately one small mortgage). Now let's see some live club footy at a much more reasonable price point. Toronto FC vs. Charlotte FC — Wednesday night, under the lights. There will be chanting. There will be singing. There will (hopefully) be Toronto goals. Bonus: the CNE hasn't started yet, so downtown won't be completely feral. When: Wednesday, August 19 — kickoff at 7:30pm Where: BMO Field, Toronto Cost: $49 per ticket. Transportation not included — arrange your own ride, or jump on the GO train with the group. Pastors Mario and Conrad will both be there. One of them is statistically more likely to be found at the concession stand buying hot dogs. The other will be watching the actual game.
