The Journey So Far

Phase 1: Opening the Doors

In 2022, a dream that God planted in our hearts became reality—we opened the doors to our York Road location. Phase 1 was all about making that dream tangible: getting into the building. It was the start of something new, full of hope and possibility.

Once we were in, we moved into Phase 2—closing the necessary permits to solidify our presence. This included major updates like building the exterior stairwell, improving our parking lot, finishing the kitchen, adding sound baffling in the auditorium, and completing required landscaping. Closing our permits was a significant and necessary milestone—marking the official completion of our base infrastructure.

Phase 2: Securing the Foundation

Phase 3: Time to Grow

Now, we’re stepping into Phase 3: Expansion. We’re ready to take bold steps forward by expanding the space God has entrusted to us. This next chapter has always been part of our long-term vision—and through every step, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness as we’ve continued to steward what He’s placed in our hands.

Built For This Moment

Every week, hundreds of children, youth, and young adults pour through our doors—seeking friendship, mentorship, encouragement, and truth. And while our programs have grown, our space has become limited.

We’ve officially reached capacity.

But this isn’t a setback—it’s a divine opportunity. A chance to say yes to the next step in our calling: completing the 10,000 square feet of unfinished space in our building and turning it into a designated ministry space for the Next Generation – what it was always intended for.

This isn’t a “nice-to-have.”
It’s a need. Our next season of growth depends on it.

The Campaign: "Ten Thousand Feet"

We are launching a bold, church-wide initiative to raise $3 million to build a space dedicated entirely to investing in the next generation. The name “Ten Thousand Feet” holds powerful meaning:

01

10,000 sq. ft.

The literal unfinished space on our second level to be completed

10,000 feet

The feet of children, youth, and young adults we believe will walk through these doors and encounter life transformation

02

10,000 ft. elevation

The high-level faith and sacrifice required to reach this God-sized goal

03

More Than a “Space”: A Place Where Lives Are Transformed

This won’t just be a physical space. It will be a sacred environment designed to nurture hearts, develop leaders, and anchor young people in faith and belonging.

Inside these walls:

Real People. Real Impact.

These are just two of the many stories of lives being transformed by God’s love through our NextGen ministries. This work truly matters. Statistically, the majority of people who choose to follow Jesus do so before the age of 18. That makes the goal clear: we must be ready to welcome the next generation into a space designed with them in mind—a place where they can encounter God, grow in their faith, and be empowered to lead others to Him. These are your children. Your grandchildren. Your future children. Their lives are being shaped for eternity—and we get to be part of that.

This is Your Moment

We recognize that we’ve asked a lot when it comes to generosity—and we don’t take that lightly. We know that every gift represents a sacrifice. But we also deeply believe in the spiritual significance of giving: that there’s freedom and purpose found when we release our grip on what we have and choose to invest in something greater than ourselves.

We invite you to prayerfully consider sponsoring as many square feet as you feel led to give. Your generosity will have a lasting impact, creating a space where the next generation can grow, belong, and be transformed. Every gift matters, and every square foot brings us closer to making this vision a reality.

Because this isn’t just a construction project—it’s a calling.
A chance to be part of something eternal.
A chance to say “yes” to the future of the next generation.

Let’s build a space where hope walks in on ten thousand feet.

How You Can Be a Part.

We’ve made it simple and accessible for everyone to contribute. We’re dividing this campaign into 10,000 units, each valued at $300.

1 sq ft = $300
2 sq ft = $600
5 sq ft = $1,500
10 sq ft = $3,000
20 sq ft = $6,000
30 sq ft = $9,000
And beyond...

Major donors can also choose to sponsor specific areas within the floor plan—creating tangible legacy zones within the Centre.

To assist us in planning and to acknowledge your intentions to partner with us please complete a Ten Thousand Feet pledge card.

*We appreciate your consideration in fulfilling your pledge by the end of December 2025, so that construction can begin in the new year* We encourage gifts toward the Ten Thousand Feet Campaign to be made in addition to your regular giving, as we continue to support the ongoing mission and ministry of Central.

Nikki’s Story: From Empty to Whole

Before I met Jesus, I was lost. I tried anything to fill the emptiness I felt inside—partying, drinking, self-harm—but nothing ever truly satisfied me. I was searching for happiness in all the wrong places, and it left me feeling more broken than before.

Then one day, a friend invited me to youth group at Central. I didn’t go for the right reasons at first, but something about this place felt different. I was welcomed, accepted, and seen. I kept coming back, not realizing at the time that God was already working in my heart through the people around me.

Not long after, I went through something that completely shook my world. I felt scared, confused, and alone. But with courage I didn’t know I had; I opened up to a leader and they prayed with me, and I know God met me in that moment. Everything changed.

That was when I truly gave my life to Jesus.

Since then, my life has been full of healing and purpose. I now serve with Central Kids on Sundays and I’m a Jr. Youth leader on Wednesdays, and I love every moment of it. God has turned my pain into something powerful, and I know He’s using my story to help others feel seen, safe, and loved—just like I did.

Jesus is now my peace, my healer, and my best friend. I don’t need to chase after the world anymore. The emptiness I once felt is now filled with His love. And I know He’s still writing my story—one full of hope.

Josh’s Story: A Story of Grace and Transformation

When I first came to Central almost two years ago, I didn’t feel like I belonged. I was weighed down by shame and insecurity and didn’t feel worthy of being in church. But there was an overwhelming sense of grace I couldn’t ignore. That grace kept me coming back.

At the time, I was living a very different life—working as a secular artist, caught up in the party scene and battling with unhealthy relationships and patterns that left me feeling empty and disconnected. I was searching for identity and worth in all the wrong places, trying to fill a void that nothing seemed to satisfy. I felt lost, ashamed, and unsure of who I really was.

Everything changed when my friend Chelsea brought me to Central Young Adults. She introduced me to a group of people who welcomed me with open arms. For the first time in a long time, I felt seen. Even though part of me wanted to walk away and hold onto my old life, something in me knew I needed to stay.

This new community of people really helped me encounter Jesus for myself and connected me into what was happening at Central.
Soon after, I made the decision to get baptized on a Sunday morning. From the moment I walked into church that day, I felt the love of Jesus like never before. I was safe. I was loved. And I knew something in me was about to change.

Then came a trip to Nashville with CYA, where I had a supernatural experience with Jesus and fully surrendered my life to Him. Not long after, I joined another trip to the Dominican, which helped deepen my faith and friendships within the church. Central has become a home for me—a place of real breakthrough, honest community, and life-changing transformation.

Since my baptism, I’ve been freed from those unhealthy patterns. The journey hasn’t been easy, and neither I nor the church are perfect—but Jesus continues to walk with us, teach us, and shape us. I barely recognize the person I used to be, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead—for me, for CYA, and for the Church. Thank you, Central, for being a place that ushered me into the presence of my Lord, my Saviour, and my best friend.
