Every year, women, girls and people with periods go without quality, accurate and safe menstrual health education. Without it, stigma, shame and taboos persist, often holding women and girls back from attending school and going to work. Our group from around the community gathers monthly to cut, iron and sew menstrual hygiene kits to be distributed to girls and women around the world. Come join us! No sewing skills required but serving heart is great. If you have sewing machine or serger, please do bring that along as well as sewing scissors, cutting mats and blades and rulers are helpful. Friends and even your teenagers who are willing to work are welcome to join us. It is a night that is so great for the heart and soul as we create something to support others who do not have.
