The Sensible Shoes series by Sharon Garlough Brown is about 4 women, a pastor, a widow, a woman who's bounced around from relationship to relationship and a hard working graduate student who wants to get things right. Through these characters Sensible Shoes encourages us to communicate with God in new ways, broadening our spiritual journey one step at a time.
